During my time living and studying in Japan,
I explored the process of 3D scanning real-world shrine elements and integrating them into digital environments. This project focused on learning and applying a full 3D scanning workflow, from capturing assets on location to implementing them in
Unreal Engine.
Using my own scanned assets as the core of each scene, I created three cinematic environments, supported by additional Megascans to build out the worlds. The project was driven by experimentation with blending real-world data and digital tools, while maintaining a cohesive visual style.
A key focus throughout was atmosphere to create immersive and visually striking scenes.
